Maha AbdelMoneim Admissions Officer
Maha completed her studies in Commerce, specializing in Business Administration, at Cairo University in Egypt. After receiving her qualifications, she embarked on a career as a Sales Administration & Logistics Executive. In this role, she managed logistics and administrative operations for high-profile clients, including the Egyptian army, the governmental banking sector, and various other government institutions, where she honed her skills in managing complex logistical tasks and maintaining strong client relationships.
With a passion for education and student engagement, Maha transitioned into the field of Admissions, accumulating over 12 years of experience in this area. Her journey in Admissions began at Maadi Narmer School in Egypt, where she served as the Admissions Coordinator. During her tenure, she was instrumental in streamlining the admissions process and ensuring a smooth transition for new students.
Maha’s career also spans multiple roles within international organizations and schools in Cairo and Dubai, where she gained extensive experience working with diverse student populations and understanding the unique needs of different educational environments.
Since September 2014, Maha has been the Admissions Officer at VIS, where she plays a pivotal role in managing the admissions process, guiding prospective students and their families, and contributing to the school’s growth and reputation.
Samira Hamdy Registrar
Samira joined our team in April 2014. She is originally from Egypt and holds a BA from the Faculty of Agriculture. She speaks both Arabic and English.
Samira truly enjoys working with the international community at VIS. She is the main contact at VIS for all communication between the school and the Ministry of Education (MOE), ensuring all MOE information is passed to the administration and teaching teams as required. She is also responsible for maintaining the school’s content in the MOE Pre-Enrollment System.
She is also the school’s Registrar, whose work includes welcoming parents interested in VIS, dealing with admissions inquiries, organizing assessments, and processing admissions-related documentation. Samira also translates many of our documents from English into Arabic.
